NO Book Club Selection for June

Instead, come to our GIANT Book and Yard Sale on Friday and Saturday, June 17th and 18th, 2016. This will be held in the Sandy Creek Grange, on the corner of Salisbury and Academy Streets, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM both days. Don't miss the author presentation on Friday at 1:00 PM. George and Carol Reed, author and illustrator of Ft. Ontario: Guardian of the North , will be talking about their book.

Besides thousands of books, including many selections acquired recently from libraries and private donors, we have lots of yard sale items to browse through. The books are categorized by topic among the non-fiction, and there seem to be many collectibles, as well as some noteworthy novels.

Adding to the fun, the FOLKS are organizing a bake sale, and will also have popcorn and water for sale.

Please stop in one or both days - I'm sure you'll find something to take home!

Special Note: On Thursday, June 16th, from 7 to 9 PM, there will be a preview and early sale for members, and those who wish to join.

PS: We need volunteers to work both days of the sale, and also setting up on Wednesday and Thursday prior. Please contact Carol at 387-2311 if you have time to join us.
