Recap of White Elephant Extravaganza
The White Elephant Extravaganza was held on Black Friday, November 28th, at the Library,
and proved to be a great success! Shoppers browsed through multiple items collected and displayed by the busy Friends, and many took home a real find! Seven vendors and crafters sold a variety of wares, such as beautiful glasswares, crocheted hats and scarves, goat soaps, maple syrup products, original artworks, and gift items displayed by the Girl Scouts. Many shoppers picked up a free coupon booklet giving specials and discounts from fourteen local shops and restaurants. The Friends made over $200 to go toward our current project, "Movie Night at the Library". Fun was had by all, and we are even thinking of another one in the Spring! Look for future events listings.
